I find this line of thinking incredibly interesting. Confusing, but interesting. Microbes, microflora, microbiomes…

Here’s an older study: http://jmm.sgmjournals.org/content/54/10/987.full#sec-6

And an interview that opened my eyes: http://www.voiceamerica.com/episode/65482/special-encore-presentation-fecal-bacteriotherapy-with-dr-thomas-borody

I know that our journey isn’t everyone’s journey, but the link between GI inflammation, neuro inflammation and auto-immunity is, without a doubt, a key one for Billy.

I only wish I’d spent more time listening in Biology class, and less time pfaffing about in Drama. I had fun wearing masks and re-writing Shakespeare, but I really should have been paying a bit more attention in the room with the bunsen burners…

Are you listening teenagers? Get off my lawn, and prick up your ears in science class.
